  • my hypersim story

DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO KK.

So it all began when I was obsessing over the Anycall Haptic. On eBay, there was a phone for sale for $200. It was the Anycall Haptic On. Better known as the SPH-W6000.The listing was very tempting and I had an impulse to get it. I asked mommy for permission and she said yes-the catch was I had to give my iPhone to my brother. I had no problem with this of course. I hate the iPhone-it was boring me and there were too many limits. The Anycall was made for me. I ordered the phone and gave my phone away.

    So I waited and waited.

Finally. I had the phone in my hands. It took hours for mommy and I to make it work considering we were working with a USIM in the beginning (which of course, is incompatible with the new phone I got. Mommy and I finally got it to work by using her SIM. This is extremely bad considering I had to copy my contacts onto my new SIM. One. By. One.

This phone was working fine of course. What could of have gone wrong…right? No.

Everytime I lost connection on the phone, the disgusting message, which contained the words “Location Registration Failed” appeared. To fix this problem, all I had to do was take the SIM card out of my phone, and insert it into mommy’s phone and make a call. This allowed the SIM to work again.

Then on one very fine day at CNM, my phone decided to not work at all-even with the transferring of SIM cards.

Guess what. I was phoneless. Apparently the hypsersim wasn’t working so mommy and I eventually went to unlocking stores. You know, the cheap-pawn-shop-looking kind. It was horrible I tell you. The salesmen were unhelpful and did not know anything about phones-let alone, speak English. We ended up going to AT&T and getting a new SIM for no apparent reason-the salesguy didn’t know how to help. Thus, I resorted to Gmarket. The same online store where I ordered my phone case, if you didn’t know.

And so I waited and waited.

Today I received my new hypersim. BRAND NEW. Without tape. Of course. I inserted the hypersim with my new SIM hoping it would work. Unfortunately, the only thing that happened was that the SIM, along with the hypersim, was stuck in the phone. I resorted to using a paperclip to retrieve the two for the endless phone slot.

And here I am, waiting for mommy to come home with my old SIM and hope of success after these long weeks.

EDIT: Mommy told me to try again. Now it’s stuck.

EDIT AGAIN: The hypersim doesn’t work at all so I do not have a phone. At all.

EDITING THE EDIT AGAIN: Getting the Samsung Galaxy S tomorrow.
